Scholarships for foreigners at Cambrian College, Canada is provided for by International department at Cambrian College supports International students with their journey by helping to recruit students from over 60 countries as well as support international students in their transition to Canada and throughout their time at Cambrian College.  

The Cambrian International department is dedicated to assisting new international students in their journey to coming to Cambrian through pre-arrival services, settlement assistance, international orientation, immigration advising and more!

To encourage international students to fulfill all their educational goals, Cambrian College has established an Awards and Bursaries programme. The college is accepting applications for this academic year 2021-2022.

The programme aims to help international students financially and continue their higher degree education in Canada at CC. The students will be given the benefits of the award in the second semester.

How to Apply:  Scholarships for foreigners at Cambrian College

  • How to Apply: The applicants are required to create an account on the OCAS International Application Service and apply to the Cambrian College through the same or through the MyCambrian To apply for the award and bursaries the students must apply for it on the MyCambrian.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • International transcripts
  • Certified translations
  • Scanned copy of passport
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants need to have a minimum secondary school diploma.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.5
  • TOEFL IBT – 84
  • TOEFL PBT – 570
  • PTE – 62
  • CAEL – 70


  • The students that will be selected for the awards and bursaries will get support from Cambrian College towards the second semester of the applied programme.
  • Cambrian College assists more than 1400students annually through our awards program.
  • A diverse range of awards are available to assist students with paying for college. We encourage all students to take the time to apply.

2021-22 academic year opens august 9, 2021

  • All Cambrian College scholarship and bursary applications are found in myCambrian.
  • Award applications can be accessed from your myCambrian account once you have registered for your program. Awards are located in the ‘Financing My Education’ section on the Student tab.

Click on the “Apply for Scholarships and Bursaries” link to complete a questionnaire. Once the survey is completed, wait until the following day, return to your myCambrian account where the system will have populated your account with all the scholarships and bursaries you are eligible for, including any additional requirements needed (such as essay/volunteer hours). Be sure to check your account for new scholarships and bursaries posted to myCambrian that you may be eligible for, as new awards are continually being introduced.

We are pleased to share that the total value of scholarships and bursaries distributed in 2020-21 was more than $1,200,000.

Be sure to search our awards database to review all of the awards available, both Cambrian and through external sources. External awards will include details on how to apply as they have deadlines and application procedures that are different from internal awards and are not available through the myCambrian portal.

step 1 – complete a survey

Login to your myCambrian portal and click on create a survey!  It is important that you finish all steps in the survey, including the final step of submission. The submission will pre-determine and list the awards you are eligible to apply for. Once you submitted your survey, you will see this list within 24 hours. STEP 5: Rack Your Award Status

Please note: There are multiple closing dates for awards throughout the Fall and Winter Semesters. The awards committee meets after the award deadline date to select the candidates. Successful candidates are notified by email.
