Rotary peace 2022 fully funded scholarship is one of the available in the United States. Applications for the Rotary Peace Fellowship for the academic year 2023-24 are now being accepted. The Rotary Foundation will accept applications until the 15th of May. By July 1, Rotary endorsers must submit their endorsements to The Rotary Foundation. Instructions for obtaining an endorsement can be found here.

Each year, Rotary selects up to 130 international peace and development leaders to receive fully funded academic fellowships to pursue a Professional Development Certificate Program or a Masters Degree Program in peace and conflict resolution and prevention at one of the participating peace centers around the world (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Thailand, Uganda).

Important Note: Fellowship holders are not permitted to study at a Rotary Peace Center in their home country, with the exception of Thai candidates who may attend the center at Chulalongkorn University and Ugandan candidates who may attend the center at Makerere University.

Rotary peace 2022 fully funded scholarship Eligibility

Professionals with work experience in international relations, peace and conflict prevention and resolution are eligible for the Rotary Peace Fellowship. The following requirements must also be met by applicants:

• For the master’s program, you must have three years of related job experience.

• For the certificate program, have five years of related job experience and be able to describe how their goal to promote peace matches with Rotary’s objective. (Candidates for Makerere University must be from Africa, have worked in Africa, or be involved in African communities or activities outside of Africa.)

• Be able to communicate well in English

• You must hold a bachelor’s degree.

• Demonstrate your ability to lead.

• Have a strong commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding and peace in Africa, or engage with African communities or initiatives outside of Africa.

Rotary peace 2022 fully funded scholarship Application Deadline

The deadline for candidates to submit their applications to their local Rotary club is May 15, 2022. By July 1, 2022, districts must submit endorsed applications to The Rotary Foundation.
