Raise Me Scholarship 2023: How to Apply and What You Need to Know

Raise Me Scholarship

If you’re planning to go to college in 2023, you’ll be lucky enough to take advantage of one of the most generous scholarships available today—the Raise Me Scholarship.

RaiseMe is a non-profit organization dedicated to making scholarship opportunities more transparent, predictable, and motivating for students and their families.

Students who take part in the free or reduced lunch program or attend significant partner schools can begin earning micro-scholarships through the RaiseMe initiative.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to apply and what it takes to win this prestigious award!

About the Scholarship

RaiseMe is a social enterprise dedicated to increasing access to higher education, particularly for low-income and first-generation students.

Rather than waiting until the end of high school to earn scholarships, which is often too late to influence a student’s college ambitions or choices.

RaiseMe allows students to earn scholarships all through high school, beginning as early as 9th grade, for doing everything that best prepares them to succeed, whether that’s getting good grades, volunteering in the community, or participating in an extracurricular.

How Do I Apply / How RaiseMe Works in 3 Steps

First, Explore Colleges: Learn more about which colleges might be a good fit for you, check out their micro-scholarships, and let them know you’re interested by clicking the “Follow” button (for each school).

The next thing is to include Your Achievements: Add each of your course grades, club involvement, sports, volunteer activities, and more to your RaiseMe Portfolio.

Finally, you will receive scholarships in recognition of Your achievements

For each achievement, you’ll receive a micro-scholarship from a college you’re interested in, the total of which you’ll receive when you attend that college.
