FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS IN RUSSIA 2022

Below is  the list of fully funded scholarships in Russia 2022.

Scholarships from the Russian Government for International Students:

Scholarships from the Russian Government for International Students is one of the fully funded scholarships in Russia 2022.

Government of Russia Scholarships Description

After passing entrance examinations or the Uniform State Examination, certain categories of foreigners, Russians living abroad, and immigrants can apply for state scholarships on the same terms as Russian residents (EGE). Furthermore, the Russian government offers overseas candidates so-called “state-funded slots” in universities every year. A total of 18,000 such seats will be available in 2021.

Government of Russia Scholarship Coverage

Free tuition for the duration of the chosen program; maintenance allowance (for the duration of study regardless of the candidate’s accomplishment); and dorm accommodation are all included in the government scholarship (if available)

NOTE: Travel costs, living expenses, and an optional health insurance coverage are not covered by the government scholarship.

International students (university graduates) conducting internships in extra vocational education (professional training or career advancement) do not get a maintenance stipend, but they do receive housing in their institution’s dormitory. Rossotrudnichestvo (The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation) allocates quotas through its international network of offices and Russian embassies across the world.

General Application Procedure

There are five application procedures:

1) On the website StudyinRussia.ru, you may learn more about how overseas applications are chosen. The announcement is also available on the Rossotrudnichestvo representation’s website (“Appendix-1.pdf“) and the Russian Embassy’s website in your country (“Appendix-2.pdf”).

2) Get information about available scholarships and subjects of study by contacting the unified operator* in your nation. The amount of state-funded foreign student slots allotted to a country is determined by the nature of the country’s relationship with Russia. Some nations have agreements that specify not just the number of places that will be supported, but also the subjects that will be covered. * An operator in a foreign nation is a Rossotrudnichestvo representative office; OR a Rossotrudnichestvo representation in the Russian Embassy; OR a Russian Embassy.

3) Fill out an electronic form and submit your application after registering on the website. Personal information (complete name, date of birth, country of residence, e-mail address, and phone number – you will be notified of the status of your application); Your chosen profession, speciality, or topic of study (you can modify this information at any time before taking the necessary examinations); Your current educational level; Russian proficiency. You can pick up to six institutions to study at (among those that are available within the quota), but no more than three in one Federal Constituency; no more than two in each of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Choose the university that appeals to you the most as your first choice.

Choose the institution that appeals to you the most as your top pick, and then list the rest of the schools in descending order based on your choices. You’ll also need to study in another country: A copy of your passport (valid for at least 18 months from the date of your intended arrival in Russia) or a copy of your birth certificate is required. Copies of documents/certificates attesting to your current level of education and/or qualification in a foreign country. All of the foregoing can be sent to the unified operator in physical copy.

4) To participate in the selection process, wait for an invitation (interviews, tests, examinations). The operator may post the schedule of interviews, tests, and examinations on its website or e-mail you directly, depending on the country. Please direct any questions you have about this stage to the operator’s office in your country. The tests and exams are arranged by a working committee, which will publish a list of results that includes information on all participants and their scores.

5) Find your name on the list of applicants (depending on test/examination results). This information will be posted on the unified operator’s official website in your country or delivered directly to the applicants (please confirm this in the relevant representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo). Applicants who do not know Russian well enough to pursue their chosen course are placed in a preparatory program. Depending on the topic of study, they spend a year learning Russian as well as a variety of general education fields (mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, and so on). Applicants who pass the final exams are granted the chance to continue their studies in the topic of their choice. Those who do not pass their tests forfeit their privilege to free education.

Please prepare extra documentation if your name appears on the list of applicants. A doctor’s certificate (medical certificate) stating that you have no medical reasons to be denied admission to a Russian institution, including HIV test results; Document replicas (notarized and translated into Russian). Add these papers to the electronic form and submit it online, or hand them over to the operator in hard copy.

Information on applicants is sent to the central office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Moscow, where it is received by the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education and added to the Russia-edu.ru database. Applicants obtain an ID after registering, which allows them to access the Russia-edu.ru information system and follow the status of their application.

Wait for a letter/notification from the university confirming your enrolment and outlining your next actions. A representative of the unified operator in your country* will communicate this information to you. Applicants interested in enrolling in the Arts and Humanities may be required to take supplementary examinations (creative contests) at the universities in some situations. Applicants will need to enter Russia on a tourist visa for this. The results of the creative contest will be used to determine whether or not to accept a particular candidate (additional examinations).
