The Holland High Potential Scholarship is a fully financed scholarship at Maastricht University. All overseas students are eligible for this grant. Maastricht University awards twenty-four full scholarships each year.
Each academic year, the Maastricht University (UM) Holland-High Potential Scholarship program awards 24 full scholarships of € 29,000 (including tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend) to exceptionally outstanding students from outside the European Union (EU) who have been admitted to UM’s master’s program.
The High Potential Scholarship (supported by the Maastricht University Scholarship Fund) and the Holland Scholarship (sponsored by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science in collaboration with Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences) are both part of the Scholarship program. It is geared towards international students from outside the EU/EEA who desire to study in the Netherlands for a full degree program.
ELIGIBILITY
You are a national of a country that is not a member of the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Surinam, and you satisfy the conditions for getting a visa and a residence permit in the Netherlands.
You do not have dual citizenship with an EU/EEA country.
You have applied to Maastricht University for admission to a full-time master’s program for the academic year 2022/23.
You fulfill the standards for admission to the UM master’s program to which you have applied.
In the Netherlands, you have never taken a degree-seeking higher education program. Students who have participated in an exchange program in the Netherlands are eligible to apply.
On September 1, 2022, you will not be 35 years old.
As evidenced by your most recent grade transcript or academic brilliance, you have achieved exceptional outcomes in previous educational programs. If numerous candidates are equally eligible, UM will give precedence to those whose academic transcripts or certified letters of academic achievement show that they are in the top 5% of scholarship program applicants for the 2022/23 school year.
The UM Holland-High Potential scholarship has a two-year duration.
A one-year master’s program takes 13 months.
A two-year master’s program takes 25 months.

The ICANN Fellowship Program aims to increase the diversity of the multistakeholder model by providing opportunities for people from marginalized and underrepresented populations to join the ICANN community as active participants.
Before, during, and after each ICANN Public Meeting, fellows are introduced to the workings of the ICANN community, are assigned a mentor, and get training in several areas of knowledge and skill growth. Be interested in, or already involved in, the different aspects of ICANN’s work in policy development, the management of the Domain Name System, and the worldwide Internet’s security and stability.

Applicants for the Policy Forum must have completed an ICANN Fellowship.

If you wish to apply for a scholarship to pay the course fees, you must apply to both RNTC (for your course application) and OKP (for your scholarship application) (for a fellowship).
To check if you are qualified for an OKP or MSP scholarship, you must apply twice a year within a ‘application window.’ The number of applications received far outnumbers the number of scholarships available. As a result, it’s critical that you meet all of the RNTC requirements (see individual course pages) as well as the Nuffic requirements (see the bottom of this page).
