Scholarship Level and Faculties.

The faculties of Applied Sciences and Industrial Design Engineering provide specific MSc programs. Therefore, the scholarship is specific.

Scholarship Application Deadline:

Scholarship Application Deadline is 12th December,2022.

Application Processes:

To apply for this scholarship, before the deadline for the scholarship, submit your entire MSc application along with the necessary scholarship documentation (including reference letters and the scholarship application form). After reviewing your MSc application, a decision on admission will be made, and at that point, your scholarship application will also be taken into consideration.

Candidates should not submit a scholarship application after learning their admission status.

 Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships.

Numerous scholarships at TU Delft are offered for deserving international students. Excellence in Justus & Louise Van Effen The Justus and Louise van Effen legacies are used to provide scholarships. In the 1940s, Mr. van Effen attended TU Delft and was a firm believer that technological advancements can help to address societal problems.

The mission of the Foundation Justus & Louise van Effen is to encourage outstanding international MSc students and provide them with financial support so they can attend TU Delft.

Eligibility:

You have been granted (conditional) admission to one of the 2-year standard TU Delft MSc programs because you are an outstanding international applicant (not a Joint Education Programme).

You have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) that is at least 80% of the maximum possible.

You graduated from a top-tier university outside of The Netherlands with a bachelor’s degree.

You applied for the MSc program in its entirety before the scholarship deadline.

Deadline:

The scholarship application deadline is 1st December,2022.

Application Procedure:

The MSc Application MUST BE SUBMITTED ALONE WITH ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS!
1. Complete your application for an MSc (check the admission requirements)
2. Submit your scholarship application online.
3. Add two letters of recommendation.

or in accordance with the specified requirement, you can upload your reference letters as a single PDF document during your MSc application.

o You can ask your referee for the reference letters (s). By utilizing the “send invitation button,” you can invite your referee(s) after filling out their details. An automated email will be sent to the referee(s) asking them to upload a reference for you.
o You can combine the two techniques. For instance, a referee request and one upload.
o Reference letters won’t be taken into consideration if your application has already been submitted.
o Reference requests sent after the deadline for the scholarship will not be considered.

4) Publish the English proficiency certificate.

Netherlands Scholarship:

The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science as well as Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences fund the Holland Scholarship. International students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to study in Holland are eligible for a portion of the scholarships. Along with the EU nations, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway make up the EEA.

Eligibility:

Excellent candidates from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) having a bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside The Netherlands who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year Regular MSc programs at TU Delft.

Scholarship Value:

According to the registered nationality, non-EEA students will receive € 5.000 in the first academic year as a contribution toward living expenses for a TU Delft MSc program based on the statutory charge or institutional rate.

A candidate may receive up to three (€15,000) Holland Scholarships depending on merit.

Other Scholarships:

If (conditionally admitted) MSc students receive a (full) scholarship from an outside source and desire to present this to TU Delft, the following requirements must be met.

1) Before June 1st, send the scholarship letter to contactcentre-esa@tudelft.nl along with your student ID number.

2) The following details must be included in the scholarship letter:
the student will be enrolled at TU Delft for the term of the scholarship program; the name of the scholarship sponsor; the student’s name as it appears on their passport; and their date of birth.
the scholarship award amount and the email address to which TU Delft should send the invoice for tuition payments;

3) Before June 15 2023 at the latest, TU Delft must approve the scholarship letter. The scholarship will be refused if the scholarship letter does not adhere to the IND’s rules, in which case the students will be required to transfer the tuition and living expenses listed on the Financial Letter to TU Delft before July 1 2023.

4) If the scholarship does not fully cover the first year’s living expenses, students must transfer the remaining payments before July 1.

5) Before July 1st, all students must transfer the necessary requested service costs (housing and residency permit/visa) to TU Delft.

6) For the course of the master’s degree, or two years, tuition fees must be fully paid; scholarship sponsors should account for a 2%–3% annual increase in tuition fees.

The TU Delft will transmit an invoice to the scholarship organization each year in the middle of September for the full amount of tuition for the relevant academic year. 30 days are allotted for payment after the invoice date.
