Eligibility
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a high school senior currently enrolled in your final year of high school for the academic year 2021-2022.
- Make it a goal to study at the university full-time during the academic year 2022-2023.
- Make it a goal to continue your education after high school by enrolling in a post-secondary institution or a continuing education program opens in a new window during the 2022-2023 school year.
- A cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or above at the moment of calculation
- Be Pell-Grant eligible
- You must be a citizen of the United States or a legal permanent resident with a current permanent resident card or passport that is marked with the I-551 stamp.
- Be a diversified candidate
- To be considered diverse, an individual’s gender, disability, race, or ethnicity must be taken into consideration.
- Being a member of a community that is underserved
- Capable of displaying qualities of leadership when necessary.
- Capable of exhibiting high standards of moral conduct in every facet of one’s life, including the personal, the professional, the educational, the involvement in one’s community, and one’s internet presence.

Worth
The twenty-seven (27) winners of the scholarships will each receive a scholarship worth up to ten thousand dollars each.
Scholarship payments are distributed in equal installments to the winner’s school for a maximum of eight (8) semesters, at which time they can be used to pay for qualified tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
