The Building Economics Vice Presidency (DEC) of the World Bank awards Fully Funded World Bank Scholarship 2022/2023 to students and young researchers, advancing the World Bank’s aim of developing new dynamic methods to capacity development and knowledge sharing in poor countries.
It is a crucial part of the World Bank’s efforts to promote economic development and shared prosperity in developing countries by investing in education, capacity building, and human resource development.

Since 1982, the DEC’s scholarship programs have helped to establish a pool of over 6,000 well-trained and experienced development professionals and researchers, who have transformed their nations and influenced future generations favorably.
For the academic year 2022-2023, the World Bank has just launched its master’s scholarship program for students from selected developing nations.
International students can apply for World Bank scholarships to continue their studies in one of 35 participating programs at institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Australia, Japan, and France in crucial development areas.

Scholarship Benefits
The following are the advantages of receiving a World Bank scholarship:

Each trip includes a $500 travel allowance in addition to airfare.

World Bank Masters Scholarship Eligibility
The following conditions must be met by the applicant:
You must be a citizen of a World Bank member country (listed above).
Being a dual national of a developed country is prohibited.
You must not be a World Bank employee or a close relative.
Have a bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent university degree) from at least three years prior to the application deadline.
Have at least three years of development-related paid work experience. Only nationals of developing nations on the list of Fragile and Conflict States are exempt from this requirement (see list below). Limited work opportunities in the specified countries will be considered in these exceptional instances.
Have been unconditionally admitted to one of the participating master’s programs on or before the application deadline (listed above)
A degree or job experience in one of the following fields is required of the applicant:

Trade, investment, and macroeconomics
Reduced poverty and equity/shared prosperity
Education
Population, health, and nutrition
Employment and social security
Agriculture and food production

Scholarship Application Procedure
To be eligible for a World Bank scholarship, all applicants must have received an unconditional offer of admission from a participating program. You will not be allowed to participate otherwise.
